Who We Are

We are a dedicated local non-profit based in Templeton, CA, committed to providing unwavering support to cancer patients and their families at no cost to them.

Cancer Support Community- CA Central Coast was founded in 2006 as The Wellness Community and has provided free support to thousands of cancer patients and their loved ones.

We are an affiliate of the international Cancer Support Community organization, the largest provider of support services for cancer patients and their loved ones in the US and adhere to the highest quality standards of practice.

We operate as an independent nonprofit organization which means we do not receive funding from the international Cancer Support Community organization. Cancer Support Community – CA Central Coast programs are supported entirely by generous contributions from our community, local donors, companies and fundraising events. All the donations we raise stay in our local community. Tax ID# 26-4659006

Cancer Support Community Values

Cancer Support Community – CA Central Coast uplifts and strengthens people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.

We provide emotional and social support for anyone impacted by cancer by offering more than 25 programs per month that include support groups, social activities, mind/body therapies, individual counseling, and educational seminars. All programs are offered at no cost and designed to support cancer patients, their families and caregivers throughout their cancer journey.
